
Sun Dried Tomato Pasta Recipe

Ingredients
- 8 oz (226.8 g) rotini pasta
- 4 oz (113.4 g) sun-dried tomatoes chopped
- 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 large onion finely chopped
- 6 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup (123.8 g) whole milk
- 1/2 cup (50.7 g) grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp fresh basil
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted water according to package instructions and a few tablespoons of pasta water.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and add onion, garlic, and salt. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes
- Add sundried tomatoes and cook for 3 to 5 minutes
- Add milk and pasta water and cook for 2 minutes.
- Stir in herb seasonings and red pepper flakes.
- Turn off heat, add pasta and add parmesan cheese.
- Add basil for garnish.
