Ingredients
- 1 large cauliflower cut into bite-sized pieces
- 500 ml (2.1 cups) milk
- 4 tbsp (4.1 tbsp) plain flour
- 80 g (2.8 oz) butter
- 120 g (1 cups) grated cheddar cheese
- 3 tbsp panko breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Add cauliflower pieces in boiling water and allow it to cook for 5 to 8 minutes, or until tender.
- Drain the cauliflower and place in an ovenproof dish.
- Preheat oven to 220C.
- In another saucepan, heat milk, flour, and butter.
- Whisk until the butter melts and the mixture thickens into a sauce.
- Stir in most of the grated cheddar cheese and pour over the cauliflower.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese and breadcrumbs on top.
- Bake for 20 minutes until bubbly.
