
Roasted Brussels Sprouts
Here is how to make roasted brussels sprouts that are crispy and nicely seasoned with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. You can also add seasonings of your choice. This recipe is not only great for the winter months but pairs well with meat or protein.
Ingredients
- 700 g (1.5 lb) brussels sprouts remove leaves and trim ends
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) for 10 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the brussels sprouts, olive oil, salt and black pepper. Stir to combine.
- Transfer to baking tray.
- Roast for 35 minutes, but check every 15 minutes to stir. Once browned, adjust the heat to low and remove from the oven.
Notes
- You can add a seasoning of choice such as paprika or chili flakes, in case you want a spicier kick.
- You can also use frozen brussels sprouts and follow the same instructions.
