Ingredients
- 1.5 kg (7 cups) potatoes cut into even chunks
- 125 ml (4.2 floz) milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 tbsp crème fraîche
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp (0.5 tsp) chives garnish
Instructions
- Boil potatoes in a large saucepan of water for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pan.
- Heat the milk and butter in a small pan, pour over the potatoes.
- Mash the potatoes using an electric hand whisk or a potato masher.
